May 24th- Silvana and Coci + Ferrari Museum
We meet Silvana and Coci the night before, which was Saturday night. Well today they decided to take us out for some Gelato and a visit to the Ferrari Museum. Was I excited for the Ferrari Museum? Of course! I paid 13€ for my ticket. The ticket included the car exhibit Museum, a movie, and an exhibit to the transitions of the cars. I fell in love with one car!
I walked through the museums and and took pictures of every car. I also enjoyed the 10 minute movie they played. It was about how the cars got started. After the short movie we headed to the next museum, twitch all of the engines. Oh, how I wish I could drive one!
After the museum, Silvana and Coci took us to McDonald's. I had no idea that a two story Mcdonald's existed. Then a friend told me that there are some in the USA. Well I haven't seen one so this is a first for me and "I'm loving it!" ;) I am not loving it so much for the food because I didn't bother to get anything to eat (trying to save money- I had left over pizza waiting for me).
The McDonald's was so beautiful. Before making this trip I didn't think that there would be a fast food restaurant like this. I just hope they are careful and not make everything fast food. I saw quite a few children enjoying their hamburger! However, I don't remember seeing any one child being a little over weight. I know I shouldn't generalize but I don't think the parents allow the children to eat to much McDonalds, based on what I saw in that hour. The McDonald's seemed very Italian, they had their menu up as normal but they had the cafe separate. It was like all of their coffee's and pastries. Why did they have it set up like that? Maybe because it is the culture to drink coffee after a meal. Maybe having the McCafe to the side will help keep the line for the food going and less crowded.
At the end of the day it was all great!
